MJR7000 setting pay cycles and time formas
Bi-weekly, ends on Sunday, starts on the 28th, ends on the 11th. In/Out in standard hours, totals in 100th's.
To set the time format (you can do this immediately, today, no reason to wait):
Put the key in the top, the display will go blank. Press 2 0 E 1 # 1# 0 E "I" (Roman Numeral One) on the upper left. The display will go blank. Turn and remove the key.
Setting the pay cycle:
Option one: You can have it print both weeks on one side, it will correctly total the non-OT hours in each week and you will have just one set of numbers to look at for the two week pay cycle.
Option two: You can have it print week one on the green side and week two on the red side. You then have regular time and OT for each week broken out, but you have two sides to read and add together. The green side, side 1, would be rejected the following week and the employee is then required (forced) to present the red side out. You also need to write their name on both sides of the time card.
DO THIS MONDAY. Anytime MONDAY, even after people have punched in. Must be done MONDAY.
Option one: Two weeks on one side (overflow goes to the next side IF it happens, normally does not):
Put the key in the top and turn it to the right, Display goes blank.
Press 2 2 E 3 # 7 E then "I" on the upper left. Turn and remove the key.
Option two: Two week pay cycle. Week 1 on side 1, week 2 on side 2:
Put the key in the top and turn it to the right, Display goes blank.
Press 2 2 E 1 # 7 E then "I" on the upper left. Turn and remove the key.
Lastly, to correct the time: If it is off, which can happen, setting the time is very easy. Use your cell phone as it is within 12 seconds of atomic time.
Put the key in the top, turn to the right. Display goes blank. press 2 0 E then # and # again. Now you see the time in military (0-23 hours) and minutes. 3:08PM is 1508. 9:08AM is 908
Replace the time with the keypad to one minute AHEAD of your cell phone. 0 9 0 9 then wait for your cell phone to update and match. Press "E". The display will go blank. Turn and remove the key.
